Just wondering, I have been noticing I've been wearing more revealing clothing around the time before my period. My best friend is a guy, and he doesn't say anything, but I can tell he's sort of 'noticing' me... We are both 17 now, been friends since 6th grade, so I wonder if he's now realizing I am a woman, more or less, and he's a man, more or less. I don't want anything to come between us as friends.

Interestingly, studies show that during ovulation women are more likely to seek nice guys, and seek bad boys when they're not ovulating. So, because he's your best friend, maybe you're more interested in him when you're ovulating, but not at other times.

You can date and still be friends, but you need to discuss it. He may be hesitant because he doesn't want to ruin the friendship or he's afraid to make the first move. Just make sure that you really want this, that you're not just blaming it on your ovulation hormones, because you wouldn't want to screw up a good friendship either.

It is normal for women to have an increased sex drive right before their period. :)
