There are 14 players on both sides. But only 11 players play on the ground and rest of 3 are extra players. They provide their help when any player out of 11 is injured. Extra player do not bat but he field as per the requirment when any player out of 11 injured.

There are no players in a criket team in one side due to the reason that there is no criket team in this whole World.

Real sense 11. But cricket, its now political. All eleven are not on one side... as also opponants eleven may also join.. and people out ..around the globe.. also play vital role..

but these days u can't say who is on ur side and who is with opposition as few dirty players take bribe to throw the game.
