What is time? Is time travel possible? For centuries, these questions have intrigued mystics, philosophers, and scientists. Much of ancient Greek philosophy was concerned with understanding the concept of eternity, and the subject of time is central to all the world's religions and cultures. Can the flow of time be stopped? Certainly some mystics thought so. Angelus Silesius, a sixth-century philosopher and poet, thought the flow of time could be suspended by mental powers:
Time is of your own making;
its clock ticks in your head.
The moment you stop thought
time too stops dead.

Hey Bloke,
if that question is answered so will a lot others even some about God & Space! Yes. But keeping the spiritual side aside, if you look at it technically numbers and equations say time travel is possible. Scientists like Lorentz-Fitzgerald and others have mathematically proved that time travel is possible. However the conditions for achieving such a feat is practically impossible. Thats why nobody has ever done it.
it might be surprising but even Newton indirectly has shown time travel is possible. For ex: in one of his laws of motion it says,
S = UT + 1/2 * A*T^2
Here this is a quadratic equation with time as a variable. As we already know every number will have a positive root and a negative root. So if the positive root of time is the time travel in the positive direction, then What signifies the negative root? I think my friend that should be the solution for time travel.

I have the Bill TimeCap 1000.
If you sit in it, you can go an hour into the future in only 3600 seconds.
Yes, it looks like a regular cardboard box but it SAYS "Bill Timecap 1000" on the side in marker.

I dont think it is possible, especially in the case of travelling through the future.

Yes of course we can. I will personally do it tonight. I will go to bed at one time, and wake up at another. Wow and I really like it that you think I am cool. :)

I don't think we have enough knowledge now to conclude either way. Even if someone was to say Yes or No, he/she would not be able to justify it. So this should be your answer. People can and will provide interesting perspectives and theories though.....but no concrete proof.
