A paragraph at the end of you essay, summing up all of what you have said in the above. For example: if you were writing about candy, you would start of with an intro saying there are many types of candy and each one has its own unique taste. Then you would write about the candy in your body(the middle part of your paragraph) and for your conclusion you would write something like:
All different types of candy appeal to different types of people. I personally prefer ??? but others prefer something more sour. Candy can help many people enjoy something exciting in their mouths and it helps many people forget about depression.

A conclusion can be a fact or an educated opinion that ends a theory once the theory has been tested. If you want to conclude that birds can fly because they have wings, then you test it. If you find that in fact, birds fly because they have wings and not because they possess magical powers then you have found the conclusion to your theory.

If writing a essay or paper, it is a short sentence or a statement summerizing the information into a simple, basic idea. It could also be an idea derived or arrived at by combining all the information gathered about a situation or a topic.
Hope that helps.
