I am trying to figure out the average, standard deviation, and range on excel?

If all your given data are in cells A1, A2, A3... upto A10 (for example), then use the following functions:

Average:

= AVERAGE(A1: A10)

Standard Deviation:

= STDEV(A1:A10)

You need to activitate your statistics analysis pak under tools, if it is already active, it will appear as data analysis. Select data analysis, then scroll through the list to select avg, std dev, etc.
