My Ipod nano(2 genneration) has been water damaged,Can i fix it?

Question

i left my ipod in my sweater and i forgot it was in it. i wash it with my ipod .i then remembered so i took it out when it was in the dryer.the screen has water in it.can i return it to costco(thats where i bought it)?can i fix it?

Dry your nano. It should look as though nothing happened. When it's already dry, try if it works. If not, return it to the store and ask for a replacement. Be sure that it's really dry and looks like it never got wet when you return it. I swear, my very stupid friend brought his iPod video kayaking, supposedly in a water proof case. Everything inside was ruined including his iPod, cellphone, and XDA. He returned the iPod to an Apple Center and the Apple people were glad to replace the damaged unit. Just say it broke down or something. You'll have no problems if it still has a warranty.

check your warranty.. You may need to pay a replacment fee or something..or maybe its not covered.

You probalby shorted all of the circuits because you got it wet. however, if you took out the battery then you would just need to let it dry out before putting the battery back in. But i dont know aobut the water behind the screen...

Try putting it into a ziploc bag full of uncooked white rice, the rice will draw the water out without heating the ipod up

I dropped my phone in a swimming pool once. I didnt turn it on, I just left it to dry in the sun, and then I took it back home to let it dry completely. It took a while for it to dry completely but after that it was working

QUICK PLUG IT INTO YOUR COMPUTER US A BLOW DRYER START BLOW DRYING IT OFF THIS WORKED FOR SOMONE BEFORE IT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU QUICK!!! you must save that poor nanos life before its fully dead!!!
