Lives in India are crappy and its a hell hole. Anything, such as really over the top movies or large media events, which let smelly blackies live vicariously and out of their squallor for just a while sells. EXCUSE ME?!?!?! But the UK and USA media is just as full of junk. Can I call to people's attention the media circus surrounding the Beckhams I mean honestly, are they really that interesting? Also the media fracas that surrounds celebs' sizes, diets, fashion/wardrobe...? EVERYONE has a voyeuristic side to them, we all want to know how the otherside live.

Such junks are there in non-Indian media also. But it remains as a news. They do not celebrate the occasion as Indian media do. Indians are good in worshiping individuals whether it is Sonia Gandhi or Amitabh Bachhan.
