Because the government doesn't care. They'd rather do something that will benefit themselves in terms of money. They used up money that can be used to end poverty in creating wars, making people poorer, and then they say its for the peoples' benefit, generating world peace. They give lots of useless excuses, when you can see that some poor people robbed out of desperation.

When a nation goes to war it is supposed to be to protect a nation's self interest. While many do feel that feeding the poor is a priority there are many who are less concerned about the poor and more concerned about themselves and their nation. Whether the action to go to war is moral or immoral (for most poeple) depends on what the war is all about and as we have seen is quite subjective. Thus, we have opinions where some think we should allocate more resources to the poor and others who think we should put more resources into war. Since the poor around the world do not vote in the richer nations they have little choice about the allocation of resources. On the other hand, the warmongers and defense industries hire lobbyists and give lots of money to political campaigns.

The conflict and the fee of that conflict are actually not something in comparison to the fees ur armed forces households ought to undergo for existence, as greater advantageous than 4,500 of our voters lost their lives and greater advantageous than 35,000 provider contributors have been wounded in Iraq.

This is a very cruel question. Why cruel is that it is a bitter truth for the modern world. We have all the money for buying new arms, fighter planes and blah...blah... But when it comes to feed the needy, we start looking at others.

Well this is well-planned strategy of US. If there will be no war, to whom they will sell their arms??? US sells its rejected arms to other nations and supplies them so that they can keep fighting and US can keep earning. It is a hardcore truth.

Check your facts. If you look, more money is flushed away on africa alone than we spend on 'wars'. I say flushed because, so far, throwing money at the situation hasn't helped anything. In addition to monetary donations to the poor, also take into account that wherever there is a major disaster, the US military runs to help. Remember the Tsunami? the Navy was helping those poor people withing 24 hours.

Because some rich people just want to get more money and power and don't want to share it even if just a penny. But there are still many people ready to share their happiness and wealthiness, I think u r a person in this group, right? I'm too, because share happiness with others you'll get happier.
