He's been in several wonderful movies (The Matrix Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, "V" is for Vendetta) but is he really talented or is he playing the same role (deadpan, serious, unemotional) and overstretching his skills? ie Keenu Reeves

I've seen "Priscilla", and other than that, he doesn't seem to be too impressive.

Those others are right, he shows a different side of his talent in "Priscilla" and I think he was more of a devoted father in "lord" then he was a cold fish like he was in The matrix and the ones that followed.
