You bake some biscuits in the oven. It could be the ones pre-mixed, and ready for baking. Or even already baked ones, just heat it up. Take them out, and cut them in half. Put on a plate, or bowl. Cook some country gravy or regular gravy if you prefer. Then pour the hot gravy over the biscuits. This is good with sausage in the gravy. ( Dice up the cooked sausage and onion, and put into gravy, mix. Then pour over biscuit. )
I used to eat this in elementary school years ago.

Well, there are several different types of biscuit gravy. But the most commonly know type is called white pepper gravy. It's not very hard to make.

It's basically ground up sausage, milk, cornstarch, pepper, and salt and little bit of garlic. That's it. If you would like to know how to make it let me know. Send me a message and I can give you a recipe.

Once you have made Biscuit gravy all you need is some biscuits. Their not hard to make either. Just get some Bisquick and follow the directions.

Let me know,

You must not be from the south. follow the steps.
1. fry some sausage (the spicier the better in my opinion, it gives the gravy a kick.)

2. leave the grease in pan

3.sprinkle flour into grease slowly and mix it as you go so it doesn't get lumpy.

4. Once you have the flour/grese mix and it is thick (but not solid) then slowly poor in milk (a cup or two) and mix

5. continue stirring until it thickens up.

6. Turn off heat and allow to sit for a couple of minutes (but not too long)

7. add salt and pepper to taste.

I would give you measurements but you need to do it from feel. The more you make it the better you get. Just keep practicing.

Its white gravy over biscuits, sausage makes great gravy, or you could use just butter melted in skillet with a few spoons of flour brown that then add milk heat to boiling and cook few minutes stirring constantly. easy as pie. or easier actually lots of cook books have the recipe, but they usually call the gravy white sauce.

It's biscuits, with gravy over it, usually a cream gravy with some form of breakfast meat, most often sausage, added for flavor.

Milk gravy is considered bisquit gravy. To make it properly you need to fry a couple of patties of sausage. When done remove them from the pan and break them up with a spatula. Next reserve about 1 Teaspoon of the sausage grease and discard the rest but leave the crumbles in the pan. Next add back the sausage and one cup of whole milk, bring the milk to a gentle boil, add one cup of cold water with 2 teaspoons of corn starch mixed in with a whisk. Next whisk in the corn starch water mixture gradually until you reach the desired thickness. Salt and pepper should be added to taste and in traditional bisquits and gravy the gravy should be somewhat peppery.

BISCUITS AND SAUSAGE GRAVY

8 buttermilk biscuits
3/4 pound of sausage (fatty sausage works best for this)
4 cups of milk
4-6 tablespoons of flour

Prepare biscuits as instructed on package. Brown sausage in skillet. As soon as sausage is completely brown, turn to medium heat. Add flour by the tablespoon, stirring constantly. Let the flour turn BROWN before adding another tablespoon (if you don't, your gravy will taste like flour). After you have added enough flour to mske the gravy as thick as you like, add milk and stir with whisk.

Serve over biscuits.

Your boyfriend is more than likely referring to what is commonly known as "man gravy" or "Swamp as$ stew". And no, it has nothing to do with Dinty Moore beef stew that you get at your local grocer. It could also be a Cleveland Steamer/mud butt combo. At all costs do not be fooled into this, miss...It is not to be messed with. And the cleanup is a real pain in the a$s, pun fully intended. Like Nancy Reagan said about crack in the 80's, "just say no". You best say "no" to your man's ungodly request to bring on the shatting. There is only one good place for poo and it is not anywhere in the vacinity of people, especially on them-thats is for sure.
