She raise her hand and ask a question.

We were taught that raise was lever, but i tried it in a translator and it didn't work.

Any help would be very very much appreciated.

À nous avons été apprises que l'augmentation était levier, mais i l'a essayé dans un traducteur et il n'a pas travaillé.

whenever i have translation problems i use http://www.wordreference.com/

it is much better than any other translator because it gives you multiple meanings for a single word... and it tells which form...

for instance it says when i typed in raise...
lever=lift
augmentation=pay increase
montee=climb
elever=advance
etc...

although you cannot translate whole sentences... it is much better at being more accurate with its translating and tenses
