I have a home in a Township and my particular property is zoned both commercial and residential. The Township trustees recently passed an ordinance requiring any vehicles that are inoperable or do not have a current tag be removed or the property owner will be fined. I have been told that since my property is also zoned commercial I am not subject to this regulation. Any informed opinion or advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Ask the Township Trustees if your vehicle is not subject to the regulation since your home is also for commercial use. Is the rule applicable only to residential areas.

That maybe true for the inoperable part because a professional garage will be considered a commercial operation...but depending on the state there may be a requirement to have current tags.

I would get that in writing if I were you. It'd make your life easier down the road.
