First try bug and tar remover. If that doesn't work, (as a last resort.) wet sand in a criss-cross pattern with 1500 to 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. But if you sand it, it will have to be buffed to bring the shine back.
*If this needs to be done, you should probably take it to a body shop.*

that's going to likely be tricky to keep away from stone pits, brought about from different automobiles throwing stones up from the line. Did you purchase this automobile to tension or purely sit down so which you will know the paint interest. generic utilising could make issues ensue which will harm the paint.

the largest grit you can get is best, maybe 50. That gets all the grime off and leaves the metal nice and shiny

Oh God, do NOT use any sandpaper! You will destroy the finish, no matter what grade you use. Try goo be gone or other stuff they sell at the autoparts store.

use a medium cut cleaner with a chemical cut... like maguires #2...on a terry cloth towel...don't rub hard, let the chemical do the work... never use sand paper. then wax the spot with a good wax
