With the health of the US in such a poor state, I would say that any medical major would be incredibly useful. The medical field pays really well, too. Unfortunately, it's also one of the hardest and most expensive degrees to get.

all are usefull it just depends on what you do with them. You could have a very simple degree such as Art. And still manage to make a lasting impact to this world. But try to focus on something you want to do and not something just for the money. You will end up giving if you do. Im saying it from experience but luckly i didn't have to go through it. But if you are wanting to do alot of things, bussiness offers that. You can get involved in any industry because bussiness is everywhere and constantly happening.

There are only a couple useful majors in college. The rest of them are designed to fill classrooms in order for the college to make more money. Here are the top 4 most important:
Medicine
Engineering
Law
Business
Of course there are many sub-majors (e.g. Electrical Engineering), but these are the 4 big ones.
There are other "useful" majors. By useful, I mean they cover areas that you need a degree to enter, but are not hard, and not as important or high paying. Those are:
Teaching
Arts (e.g. Communications, Journalism, etc)
Science (e.g. Biology, Mathematics, etc.)
But hear this: If your major in college does not fall under one of the above categories, you need to do one of three things: Join a labor union, start your own small business, or see your recruiter.

If you are asking because you don't know. Just major in exploratory studies that way you can get your core requirements out of the way and give yourself a chance to chose what is right for you.
