Is it safe to be in the Mosh Pit area of this concert? Any responce from people that have been to thier concert?

i personally love mcr, n think theyr a realy hard band to label, which i dont think is a bad thing... but they get calld emo-, punk-, goth- rock... all of which i can kinda understand, tho i wudnt necessarily agree.
i went to my first mcr gig in november, n loved every second of it. ther was a mosh pit, but it was quite big but not huge, so if u dont want to be in it, dont worry cos theres plenty of otha options,n i dont mean just stuck at the back! i guess it depends wat u mean by "safe", to a certain extent no mosh pits r safe, thers always the risk that u cud get hurt, tho i reckon at a mcr gig the mosh pit wont be too bad, thers a lot of compassion in the crowd, like ppl helpin each otha up if they fall down or r hurt, that typa thing. not like at a metal concert, wher if u fall ova ur in the sh*t bigggg time!

In my opinion, My Chemical Romance is a punk/emo band. I'm sure many will disagree, but it's just a label, so...
Mosh Pits are generally safe, as long as you scope it out before you dive in. At a MCR concert, it'll probably be pretty mellow. People will be jumping, pogo-ing, bumping into each other, but usually help each other up if someone falls.
Watch out for crowd surfers falling on your head - help hold them up if possible. If you're crowd surfing, roll your body in the direction you want to go, don't let the crowd dictate your movement. You'll most likely end up at the front of the stage, be helped down by the bouncers/security and led back to the crowd area. Make sure you set a place to meet your friends if you get separated, casue you will be!
DO NOT get into a pit at a metal or hardcore concert if you have never been in one. People get hurt because of stupid things - too much testoterone, people not paying attention and hardcore-dancing (which involves kicking and punching) plus alcohol equals a rough crowd. But then again, it's a metal show. MCR won't be as tough a crowd.

MCR is an emo/punk band dont worry the mosh pit area is probably filled with younger kids in highschool, because they are more main stream there mosh pits are not really most pits.

The mosh pit for MCR has gotten weaker considering that their popularity with MTV took carry. while you're a newby to the mosh pit, then could I advise making your thank you to it and staring at it first. With the quantity of experience you have, in case you experience gentle decide for it. If not, then dangle out and revel interior the coach. i assume seem in the previous you bounce could be a suitable approach. maximum folk have been in that pit with the fool who comes to a decision to get to violent and ruins our relaxing, so be careful.

they are like emo music. not very good in my opinion. granted i am a metalhead and have been in mosh pits at slayer, lamb of god, children of bodom, amon amarth, deicide, and suffocation shows, i would not concider the most pit unsafe at this show. its just gonna be a bunch of kids runnin around. nothing to be worried about. one hint of advice. don't get pushed around in a mosh pit. use your strength to push others around.

They are a crap band.
Being in the pit is safe, it's not like you're at a Black Flag or Circle Jerks show.

that more like slipknot and korn
MCR is not even that hardcore for anyone to mosh!!who would mosh to emo songs?you'll probably just hear a lot of screaming and ppl and singing along to their songs

they are alternative I guess
