Doing your own piercing is not smart.
You have put your self in real danger of getting any number of infections, not to mention that a regular belly bar is much fatter then the hole you just put in yourself.
We have professionals for a reason.
I advise that you remove the needle immediatly, throughly clean the area with salted water and see a pro who can do the job properly
Or if you intend to leave it in, put the belly bar in asap before the skin starts to harden and scar, clean the area as many times a day as possible and pray you dont get an infection.
If you dont have money right now to go to a pro, take it out now sterilise the area and hope it doesnt scar, then when you do have money, get it done properly.
What the hell were you thinking...

that is stupid, doing the piercing yourself. you don't even know how to do it and yet you go ahead and do it anyways... and now you're asking us. like we would know any better! that's why we go to the professionals to get it done! if you didn't have any money you shouldn't have even considered it anyways. if you get an infection what will you do then? you don't have the money to pay for the medical bills if you're as poor as you say you are... or is it just an excuse because of the fact you made that mistake and now regret it?

you should have put the ring or bar in as soon as you pierced it wash it with warm salty water keep it dry and maybe since you did it yourself get some antseptic spray for earings at the cchemist don't fiddle with it a lot as you carry germs on your finger and under your nails and they will infect it. the fact that you are having to ask this question on yahoo means that you obviously have no idea what you're doing. go to a professional, let them look at, adn let them tell you what to do. and for the sake of your belly button and the health of the piercest, disinfect it. NOW.

That is a shame.....if you didn't have the money to get it done properly, you surely wont have the money to pay for the medical care to get rid of the staph infection you surely introduced to your body!

Go to a tattoo parlor. Ask to see the person who does body piercings. Show them your belly button. Let them fix it!
