i think that is an old sayng based on more traditional values, when America was more patriarchal (I'm assuming it originated in the 1950's, I can just picture the "perfect" housewife saying that while taking the kids to school, making dinner, cleaning the house, etc.) if my assumption is correct then it seems to be based on the values of the culture at the time. as in, the best way to catch a man is through cooking for him and taking care of him. i'd think that this is not true today, and i would hope the best way to a man's heart is through your personality, and love .....

Yes, I do believe it's true, if the man is interested in eating.
Unfortunately, some men would rather drink, smoke or do other things. They have their priorities all wrong.
A normal guy......yes, the way to his heart is through his stomach.

Most men, do love good food. There are men who can cook as well or better than a woman.
Maybe, back in my grandmothers day, that was true. I don't think that it's a real determining factor anymore.

I don't think its very true, I think it's a different part of his anatomy we need to focus on more than his stomach.
