Do you look more often at the past or into the future?

I'm staring at the world through the rearview... (as said by Tupac)
I find it hard to really look into the future considering the past haunts me. There are a few things that I wish I could get over but I really don't know how. I don't know if I'm just scared to move on because this pain is so familiar. I'm used to it. If I looked to the future, there might be a greater pain, a more intimidating ghost.
I don't know. I just think I'm pathetic most of the time.

That's a tough call....there's much to be learned from the past, but I'm so looking forward to the future and all the changes I'm working on...Right now I have to say future.

The past is past n the future is important so I look at the present...I live for the present!

i try to look to the future but i tend to bring up the past more often

At my age (67) my future is limited so I look at the past and remember all the good times I've had.

The future you never know what is going to happen. Where as you already know what happened in the past.

I remember the past and look forward to the future. Every day is another opportunity to make myself better and to make someone laugh.

I have moments of both..in fact at one point I could not even see a future...but things got a lot better and I look to the future more and more nowadays...
