Well, firstly I agree with others - do not do re-makes. But Hollywood is Hollywood.......... Should they do that theys hould at least keep it as near possible as the original and you cannot have young actors play the main parts. So, therefore, a dark, handsome but serious looking guy - CLIVE OWEN (he should have been James Bond anyway with the latest movie).
For the woman I would say someone not too young either and she must also have dark hair and be serious looking but with a striking look. So, who then : I would say Catherine Zeta-Jones. I am not her biggest fan, but for that role she has the looks.
