You are absolutely too young to become sexually active, your body and mind are not ready for all the changes that will come with sex. Please wait until you're an adult, at least 21.

Yes it will hurt! How much depends on your body and how tight your hymen is. Some women are very tight or thick and you can and will bleed. But the most important thing is are you ready for this? Just because you have been dating a long time doesn't mean that you must take the relationship to that step. Sex is more that just two people getting together for pleasure. It is also mental and emotional and if you are not prepared for the consequences then you will get hurt. Another thing...If you can't talk openly and honestly about contraceptives, STD's and things like that then you are not ready...

My "family life" teachers told me the same thing as the first poster learned. And I believe the people who told me that because, well...they've all been there and done that, if you know what I mean. Apparently its really just the first time that is painful because some kind of a layer of skin on the girl gets torn (unless it accidentally got torn before when you were playing a rough sport of something) and you'll probably bleed a bit. I just want to advise you to not rush into this with your boyfriend, even though you've been dating for quite a long time. Don't make a decision that you can never take back

The first time you may experience a small amount of pain, but if it really hurts, he's not doing it right. Speaking as someone didn't, you may want to wait and make sure he's really the one. There's nothing quite as sad as finding the right guy and not being able to know that he's the only one you've shared that with (even if he's okay with it).

If you aren't ready, don't do it...and don't let him pressure you into doing something you aren't ready for. You'll end up regretting it.
Decide when you're ready! And yes, it's not the most comfortable thing in the world, and you're sore afterwards as well.

In contrast to my recent question... my first time did'nt hurt but it was spontaneous and despite his size... did not hurt me except for the initial penetration. If you are ready, turned on, and feel beautiful than it may not hurt, but it depends on your body. Be prepared... be safe and if your worried pick up a water based lube :)

yes it will, only the first time and it's not unbearable, just relax and it helps out a lot. Also if your on tip then you can do what feels good to you, Don't let him pressure you and be totally sure it is something you both want, use protection and stay safe..~court

If your sixteen you should be ready for sex. Just don't let your parents be in the house at the same time. AND don't worry aboyt babies, becuase if you become pregnant it is legal to have a baby at sixteen.

Yes, I think it is natural because you may bleed. I don't think it matters how long you've been going together. Has he been sleeping with other girls? I think you need to seriously weigh your options. I am saying that because if you really want to get serious with him and he doesn't want to have safer sex such as using condoms for oral and penetration, then I think you need to request that he get tested for STDs.
