my little computer icon at the bottom always says my signal strenth is low and even when i repaired it nothing happend?
how can i get it to be a GOOD SIGNAL STRENGTH?

the main router is in the game room, my room is about 25 feet away

Probably because you are pretty far away from the router. Also some router can send the signal further than others.

Go into configuration and make sure you are broadcasting at 100%. You can alter the broadcast strength if you live in a small apartment for example, and you don't want people on the street picking up the signal.
Also signal strength is low if you have a lot of obstructions between your laptop and the wireless router.

1st reposition it to you have better receptions, if that does work then get a signal booster. I sure you tried turning the router off for 10 seconds and the back on.

eugene, you can be a bit nicer...
but, if you are using wireless connection, if you have a wireless router in your house, you can try moving that closer to your computer or vice versa. or if you have a large house, get another router for that area (in my house 2 are needed, one for upstairs and one for downstairs)
if you are connected directly, theres probably something wrong with your internet and should get it checked by a computer person.
