Often it is something that you are eating that is causing inflammation. Try to cut out all saturated and trans fats and starches and sweets and sugars. These trigger inflammation. You will have to be very stoic and start a veggie and low fat meat and fish and not too sweet fruit diet with no breat and starches. A cave man type diet. Lose some weight and stay away from surgeons. Try to do it naturally with some omega oils and natural minerals and Sub lingual B-Vitamins and EFA's and lots of relaxation and deep breathing and soothing lifstyle. Get rid of all people and things that drain your energy. Get lots of good sleep. Cut own the caffeine and stop all sodas. Stop the worry too!Good Luck Linda

It sounds like arthritis but I'm not a doctor. I do have arthritis: the crunching in your knees could very well be caused from arthritis , you may have calcium deposits in your knees. You didn't mention any swelling which is usually associated with arthritis My knees click especially when I walk down steps. It sounds like your elbow is locking up on you which is also something I have experienced. The joints can be very achy and sore and so can the surrounding soft tissues. I don't think that running is helping your situation at all because you are over using your ankles and knees and causing a tremendous amount of stress to your joints and if you have arthritis that's not good; so please go see a doctor for proper diagnoses and treatment. AND always remember there is no cure for arthritis. I hope my answer has been of some help.

The knee sounds very much like the cartilage in your knee joint has worn down. My boyfriend gets the exact same thing - the same pain, and a grinding noise/feeling when he bends it. Try to see a doctor soon - your other aches and pains may be related.
