i have the slimline PS2, can i hook it up to the internet via ethernet? i have a home network built into my house and a cable right in my den. how does this process work and what are good racing games to play online. right now, all i have is NFS:Hot Pursuit 2 (which sucks), GT3, and GT4

also, ive heard that you can plug a computer hard drive into the old PS2s, can i do the same with the slimline?

how do i configure my firewall to accept PS2 traffic? my router is not hooked up to a computer. i just has a phone line in the basement and cables that go to each room in the house.

Yep just hook up the Ethernet cable to the back of the PS2 and you should be ready to rock. But you got to think about your firewall if you have one and also your IP address. I have a link below to help you out it's from PlayStation so hopefully that will work. If not Google works also.

But as far as games go I would have loved to play GT4 online but there is no support for it. I just played Tiger Woods on there and some random FPS games. You talk some trash to somebody and get your ar$e waxed. You know how it is.

I had my PS2 hooked up wirelessly so I didn't have to run wires throughout the house. I have a Linksys network in my home and they offer some get additions to your network. Also a link below.

grab a Cat5 cable (ethernet cable) and pop it in the back of the slimlime. Harddrives don't work on slim ps2s anymore

all that need be done is plug the ethernet cable into the back of the ps2 and create an online registration file
