Why is it that, from my knowledge ,the group of people that have the biggest problem with an African American dating a Cacausian a majority of the time is older white men??

I said the MAJORITY of men....and I'm speaking from my own knowledge. I have been in an inter-racial relationship for over 10 years, I'm married and have 2 bi-racial children. I hold no shame, I'm proud of my family and we have nothing but love for eachother and really could careless what other people think. I was just a bit curious why it still bothers people, I personally think that it is small and trivial but some people take it personal when they see a white woman with a black man, but oh well they are the ones losing sleep at night!
It is good to read the answers that are posted to see how far we have come and how excepted it is now a days! It's a beautiful thing!

That's because the older white men are just jealous of us young white guys with our black bfs.

But being serious I couldn't care less about bi-racial relationships comming from a country like Mexico where most ppl have ancestors from many, MANY races.

Because in many ways older white men are the 'establishment' or at least they think they are the privileged ones. It's sort of like an old boys club and they really do not realize how ignorant they are.

because the are closer to the 50 and 60s thing.. and even people in their 40s are like that it is because of the way they are raised...if you have asked me 4 yr ago what i thought of dating outside my race i would have told you yuckkk.. but that was before i met my bf and saw him not what color he is// now i never see what color he is i only see his heart

i have gay friends -- a bi-racial couple -- that have been together for 30 years. they have a wonderful relationship and have never had any shame, nor does anyone judge them for it. i think you are generalizing here.
