In the past few days I've been having weird pain, somewhat like menstrual cramps, but I just had my period so it's definitely not that. I know I prob am ovulating soon, but I've had my period for years and have never had much pain when that occurs. I'm on the pill right now and have been for 2 years, but I did just change brands. I'm not really sure that would effect it however... anyone know what it could be?

It's mostly on my right side, but sometimes spreads to my whole abdomen area... Thanks!!!

Do you still have your appendix? That is in the right lower quad of your abdomen. Call your Dr in the morning and ask him/her what they think could be causing it. If the pain persists, gets worse, or is accompanied by fever and or nausea, go to the ER asap.

It could be something simple like gas in the lower intestines (they curve all around down in that area). If it continues more than a day, you should see your doctor to make sure its not some kind of blockage or infection.

It also might be a cyst on your ovary...they are really common and most go away on their own.

it could be that you have a uti. (urinary tract infection) you need to see a doc. best one to go to about that would be a female doc. (OBGYN)
