If you're willing to work in the middle of nowhere and never be home, you can bring home close to, if not exceeding, 6 figures a year.
No I'm not kidding. Canada is crying for drivers, especially wayyy up north.. (ie NWT, the mines, icefields, etc..)
Get up here man, what are you waiting for?

PS.. you dont have to be union to make good money.. few companies are up here.

depends on where you live. the american $ is valued a bit higher in CN...SO, 1$ is like getting 1.35 or whatever the exchange rate is on that day. As far as trucking....right now the economy is so bad there is no frieght moving. It is nationwide. Regardless of what Mr Bush says, we are in a world of hurt and people are not buying in the US. There is very little building or mfg that requires steel. and if steel is not moving that is a very bad thing.... only Just in time frieght like groceries are moving. Dont go into trucking right now...see how this govt thing works out...

My husband is a trucker & he made 38K last year. He's not union though & he is home every weekend. If you don't require a lot of home time you can make a lot more.

Depends on how much time on the seat that you've had, and to check out the company, really good, before working for them
