I thought I had a yeast infection and have been curing it with the cream, but now my discharge is yellow green, but not really any odor... also itchy down there and burning. Please don't respond that one of us cheats cause I know for a fact we do not, plus we always use condoms. Can any other infection give a yellow or greenish tinted discharge. It has only been after I started treating with yeast cream that it seems to have gotten colored. I am freaking out now, and cannot get into the doc for 2 days. I have had 2 kids within 2 yrs so I know I was tested for this type of stuff then.

Trichamonas infection is usually associated with a greenish colored discharge. Trichamonas is most readily passed through sexual contact, however you can get trichamonas in other ways as well.

Trichamonas is a protozoa and can be treated with antibiotics (usually flagyl).

Bacterial vaginosis, on the other hand, is usually associated with a fish odor combined with a greyish-white discharge. However, this can also be treated with the same antibiotic.

Either way, head to your doctor. They can tell you exactly what's going on and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

If your partner had relations in the past, this could be some form of STD or infection. All it takes is 2 times for one or the other, and condoms are not reliable at all for protecting against these kinds of diseases. STD's can be transmitted from nerve endings, ranging from your belly-button to lower thigh. My best advice is to wait until you can see the doctor - they will be able to find out exactly what is going on, but until then, my only advice is to refrain from using the cream (it could also be an allergic reaction).

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Its sounds like trich. You can get it from contanimated objects, however docs will tell you... you got it sexually. Men dont , usually have symptoms, they just pass it on to the partner. You definately need to go to the doc, because it wont go away by itself. Once your treated, get your partner treated too. If not you will just pass it back and forth to each other. Trich has a beer like smell... go get checked soon as you can.
