there are for 14 year olds. some cities offer programs to help kids 14-16 to get jobs during the summer. you could check with your city hall. or ask your neighbors if you could walk their pets or mow their lawns, or something like that. just remember that child labor is also illegal. thats why I say you check with city hall. good luck!

Find out things that you can do, and make sure you have the
transportation to get there. More than likely they will be domestic jobs unless you have typing skills etc. Then make yourself
availble by placing a small add in the newspaper so that some-
one can hire you. You can do things such as feeding and walking
animals when neighbors are on vacation. Helping with houswork
working in a library, checking in on an elderly person etc.

As a general rule, the Fair Labor Standards Act sets 14 years of age as the minimum age for employment, and limits the number of hours worked by minors under the age of 16.

a few places allow younger people. i used to work at a place when i was 13 and got paid $6 an hour which is pretty good. you could maybe do yard work but i never liked doing that. try asking a clothing store or a sports place or something like that.

If you like animals, you could try pet sitting or dog walking. If you're good at sewing, you can charge for doing small repairs, like hemming or button replacement.

You could get a paper route. Other than that, in most states it is illegal to hire anyone under 15.
