So I am just wondering if I should be concerned or go see a doctor. I am seventeen and am still in highschool. My fiancee' just turned 18 and we thought we were ready for sex. We have always used protection untill recently when we got cought up in the heat of the moment and went without. Since then (November) I haven't had a normal period (lighter and only lasted about three days). And Since the beginning of December I bleed after sex. I have had the urge to drink more and I have had to pee a whole lot. I also started to get headachs and I have wierd cramps in my abdomen area. most of the time lower and really strong and like today in the upper right side of my stomach. I get irritated extremely easily and have started to cry for no reason. Even when I am just watching full house! I know i'm lame. And My friend keeps bringing up the fact that I seem to notice every pregnant woman and baby. But do u think I should be worried enough to go take a pregnancy test or is it all in my head?

Please do see a doctor, if only for your own peace of mind.
Whether you are pregnant or not, you shouldn't be bleeding after sex!

And yes, though the 'symptoms' you describe could fit a first trimester pregnancy, some of them could also fit incipient diabetes, couvade, or other difficulties with your body. A drugstore pregnancy test will only take a bit of time and money and can help answer your question one way or another. But please do also find a medical support person you can trust and let her/him know exactly what you've described here.

Bleeding after sex and cramping could be signs of certian Sexually Transmitted Disease. As for other symptoms if you were mentally worried to get pregnant and were conciously thinking of pregnancy after sex you could be causing the symptoms simply through your mind. Always consult your doctor. Take a pregnancy test its not to early if you get those super early tests. You can have light periods for a couple months after implantation if your pregnant, and some light spotting. Perfectly normal, but also can be signs of other things. You can get a low cost STD test from Planned Parenthood or your doc even if your pregnant. Never a bad idea to be 100% sure you and your partner are clean. Also schedule an OBGYN appointment also. If you dont plan on keeping it Planned Parenthood will also give you really low cost visits. Just remember if your pregnant thats a little precious life growing in your tummy, dont jepordize it cause your worried or dont want to know.. Give your baby the best chance at good health and development.

If you have had your period then the chances are extremely thin that you are pregnant as you cannot cleanse your egg if it is fertilized. This is probably a hormonal change due to puberty.
