Yes they do. That was & I hear is still a problem when a lonely cowboy rubs up against a sheep for any length of time. The static cling is so bad the cowboy can't get free from the back end of the sheep. The phrase," Boy, you have a Sheepish Grin" came from. This was caused by embrassment when someone saw the poor cowboy trying to break free from the static cling from rubbing up against a sheep and can't w/out assistants.
