I heard of doing this, so i tried it not knowing what was going to happen....i found out that it was true!!! you can burn your self like that?? but then i started to wonder how does this happen???? can anyone help??

Salt helps melt ice through a chemical reaction, that is why they use it on snowy/icy roads. As the ice is melting, the ice gives off heat as part of the reaction.

its a chemical reaction. The numbness of the ice makes your skin weak and then the salt kinda like forms with your skin causing a burning from teh opposite attraction of the ice

well. me being the idiot i am i have done this and i asked how it happend and one person told me it was a chemical reaction but the one i think was right said that the salt made the ice colder (or somethign like that) and that if it gets cold enough it can burn your skin but idk my friends are as dumb as me so oh well
