i lied to a friend of mine (who s a guy) and told him i was not a virgin but iam.i know its silly but im a bit ashamed of it being that im in my 20,s,but is anything really wrong with it?

You should not feel ashamed for being who you truly are. I know that in today's world most people will judge you on any topic. Be proud of who you are and don't lie to someone because you think they might think different of you. If he is a true friend he will accept you for the girl that you are, no matter what. Hold your head high and don't worry about what others might think.

I agree that it's not a bad thing to wait until your married, but you should be proud of your virginity, most people loose it at the age of 15 or so.

so what if you are a virgin there is absolutely nothing wrong with that infact that is very comendable. The question is what was your friends intentions of asking that kind of question to you? Maybe he is still a virgin also.

There is NOTHING wrong with it. You are still young, don't be bogged down with the trouble that sex brings with it. Wait until the right one comes along!!! There is no reason to be embarrassed about virginity. Tell him, than laugh at him, because he will be jealous.

there is totally nothing wrong with being a virgin. in fact you should be very proud of it...about that friend of yours, if he happen to ask you again, you should tell the truth and be proud with it!!

You should proud because you can keep you virginity! There's not many girl who's can keep her virginity.
