Is there a way I could plug my guitar into whatever it's called and have the waves move to my playing ability?

Hi Matty, I am not exactly sure what you are talking about, but maybe it is vibration. Did you ever watch a speaker that did NOT have a cover over it? It moves in and out making waves in the air at audible frequencies. That is what sound is, waves in the air. That is why there is no sound in outer space.
You can imagine that when these waves strike a window glass the window will flex with the waves. It would have to do that in order to pass the sound and we know that a window will NOT stop sound.
Now, the glass can also act as a prism and you can see light reflected on window glass almost anytime. Well, the sounds vibrate the window and the reflections or refracted light moves back and forth at the same frequency as the sound that is making the window vibrate.

Are you talking about Windows, the computer operating system?
If so you need to be accurate and precise.
