Do not listen to people like Chainsaw. I wouldn't be surprised if he were a member of a major oil company. You do not have to be from the left to know about the dangers of global warming. Although I am a Democrat, I believe the Republicans would be supporting us as well if it weren't for the major oil companies who buy them into office. I think Republicans have a good heart but are distracted buy all of the money,....and not to mention their urge to tell people what is right and wrong.

For the government to get involved it would cost much money. The government doesn't want to spend money on that. Aside from that, they are making sure to pay hardy sums to "scientists" to knock the credible evidence that proves global warming is real. Therefore you get ignorant people such as chainsaw who trust the government and can live soundly believing the earth will exist forever. You group those people and you get at least 50%+ of the population not giving a damn about the importance of global warming and the effects it is doing and will be doing in the near future.

Yes as soon as we get out of Iraq, Iran, etc., but then there will be another excuse. so when is your guess? Right now we are trying to prevent Global destruction by nuclear war so which is worse? I think the war right? No one can think when this is going on and yet we should be that is correct. But poverty here in the US is deplorable as well and the rich are just pigs.

Former Vice President Gore has been spreading the word re: Global Warming. The information is getting out to people who can do something about this. This is the natural way problems are solved.

perhaps rather than worrying about whether or not the government(s) are going to do something about global warming we should all, as a human race, step up to the plate and start doing something about it ourselves. stop driving the 3 blocks to the 7-11 to get the can of pressurized whip cream, instead, walk to your neighbors house and help her shovel her sidewalk. that kind of thing.

So you agree that it is a waste to rebuild New Orleans then? It is 14' under sea level, and with the global warming scientists saying that the sea level will rise by 30', it would be a waste. Maybe we should start moving everyone from the coast lines!

Here is the nothing the federal government is doing for global warming.
USGCRP Total 105.2million 2006 FY
So what you are saying seems to be - no matter how many millions of dollars are budgeted - it still amounts to nothing.

No that was all bogus hippie junk.
Those science charts and measurements were made up by the liberal media.
The earth is naturally going through a warming process that has never happened before this way and it has nothing to do with the CO2 humans are producing.
Stuff that never has every happened before happens all the time.
All you liberal hippies always think the end of the world is coming. First you said cigarettes would give me cancer, then you said trans-fat would give me a heart attack, well i smoke and eat KFC every day and I'm FINE! You don't know what you're talkin' about!

No. Global Warming is a lot of hot air.
What it should do is enforce the Constitution.
