We I go out to each lunch during the week, I often find that many other people have randomly chosen to eat at the same resteraunt. When I come back next week on the same day of the week, I am the only one in the place. It seems that many times, everyone randomly chooses to go to the same resteraunt or at least avoid other resteraunts. Is there a word to descibe this coincidence in the behavior of man? Is it Synchronicity?
Thanks
Bill

I think that would be more of a random sorting anomaly. I always wondered how people decide to sort themselves out into all the different places at different times too. Sometimes it works better than others. Synchronicity implies that there is some coincidence that has an underlying non-causal factor involved. Like if you went back to the restaurant and seemingly randomly the exact same people were there in the same seating arrangement.

Actually, synchronicity would be more like finding a pack of Rolaids shortly after leaving the restaurant.
