when i was young we lived in a house that was what i call "strange". the manual typewriter would type by itself...you could hear footsteps walking on hardwood floors....chairs would move around.

my folks knew about it but we could not afford to move as it was the company house that was assigned to my dad. years later, after i got married and used to visit my folks, my 2 year old son would look at empty space and laugh and run around something that wasn't there.

once, he tossed his little rubber ball at something in the air, and my dad and i saw the ball stay up in the air and bounce back to my son....... after that day, we all made sure one of us were always with my son when we visited.

but we all grew up in this house and my folks stayed there many years until my dad retired and they moved to a smaller home as all of us were grown and gone.

we never found out what was causing this but some people who lived in the village below us told us that area we lived in used to be a bunker during the japanese era (WWII) and many people hiding there were all killed by bombs... who knows....

Why are you scared? A spirit leaves in the spirit world, not the physical world, and can't harm you. Make peace with whatever is haunting the house, live and let not-live.

Face your fears!!!
Get you a ouji board, (they can be found at retailers like Kmart, etc.) and a friend or 12, and talk to your ghost! No candles needed - just a ring of questions!
True story - My Sis's desk moved every night, while she slept - a good couple inches! My parents did research to find out who had previously lived there. I was given an ouji board (My uncle thought it was a joke) and my parents used it to talk to our furnature-mover. They found out it was some teenage girl who died of heart failure! We talked to her all the time, and lived like that for years.
Now: The house is gone. It was leveled a few years ago. It was just an old house which stood on land that was bought right out from under it.

Good luck, and if it gets too bad, please tell yourself that it's probably just the house settling. Or the tree scratching the siding. Or the mice under the sink. Or maybe just the wind....................???

Our house is haunted, as far as I can tell (we've all seen faces and figures and heard strange, children's voices). Since they bothered my kid the most, we yelled at them to go away and it seems to have worked. The face is still there, though, but we ignore it. As long as you're not reliving the movie "Poltergeist", let them hang out...because someday, YOU may be a ghost and want to stay in your favorite house!

First I ask what faith do you believe in. If you are a christian like I am I suggest you get a decon, pastor, missionary, mother, bishop, or reverend over there with some Holy oil. They need to have a strong supply. A Old Testiment Bible and A Cross. Along with them kneel down on your knee and pray. And as they walk through your house anointing your doors with the oil pray along with them and mean it. After they are through, pray for yourself so that the spirit of fear shall be lifted from your heart so that you could deal with any and everything.....

By what?
My house is haunted by a little girl who has never given me trouble, I see her run around sometimes.
She doesn't like men though, My husband has had a few occurrences, like small hand prints on the mirror after his during his shower, he thought it was me, but it happened again when I wasn't home.
But she doesn't like other men worse, I had a friend sleep over while my husband was away. He said she wouldn't let him sleep, she kept shaking anything he sat or laid on and would scream or something.
Another friend stayed while my husband was here, He crawled to my room and said my house was cursed and that he needed out to save himself, but he never mentioned seeing her.

How do you know your house is haunted?, I once lived in a haunted house and it wasn't all that bad. They really don't want to hurt you, they are just trapped and trying to find their way home. For instance the ghost in my house was waiting for his wife to join him (she was in a nursing home) we got a phone call from her daughter one night telling us that she died. The haunting stopped almost immediately.

our house is also haunted, what we are going to do is take a ouija board and (at least try to) see what the ghosts want. another thing you could do could be move, or my brother's dads x-fiance said to take a bible, walk around your house 3 times while saying under your breath: 'this is my house, i live here now, leave here' ect...good luck with your ghostie problem!!

It seems reasonable to me that your house is haunted, but unreasonable that these ghosts mean u any harm....

Ghosts are trapped in some way between this world and the next...

communicate...they might simply be confused

Find a St. Christopher Medallion... Wear it! I have a friend whose house seemed to be haunted when she first moved in...she told me she told the ghost to get lost and she seems to be OK now...(don't ask, I really don't know how she got rid of it by yelling at it...).
