How can I repair minor scuffs on my black leather jacket myself?

If the scuffs are really minor try rubbing a very small amount of vaseline on them with a soft cloth.

Black shoe polish! The solid stuff found in tins. A little of that and a good buff up, - - - brilliant.(and cheap)
