omg. its the most awful stench in the world.... so bad it gives me headache.. its smells like rotten pepper or something..... how can i hint to her please not to wear it anymore?!?! shes an older lady....

Some people just don't get it when you hint. I would just tell her I think your perfume it giving me a headache could you please wear less of it I would appreciate it and if any perfume of mine does that to you let me know please.

Go to your boss. It is their job to mediate these types of dissension in the work place; and foul smelling perfume is a valid one. Many companies (mine included) actually ban the use of perfume for just this reason, also because some people are actually allergic to certain chemicals used in perfumes and colognes. If you have an employee manual, check it.

put a better smelling bottle of perfume on her desk for a special occassion!!! if that doesn't work everytime she gets around you say something smells funny.. she'll get the message eventually =D if not.... =( go up to her... and tell her... "IF YOU EVER COME NEAR ME WITH THAT GOD FOR SAKEN SMELL OF ROTTEN ROADKILL I WILL BREAK YOUR LEG OFF!!!"... might be a little cruel but she WILL get the message then...

Tell her that you're allergic to it and it's making your eyes water. Ask her if she could not wear it to work.
