ha ha i just answered one of these. but here it goes again lol. i love midol. but cramps are caused by your cervix trying to pass a clot (or multiple clots) ibuproferen thins out blood and also relaxes the muscles. when it thins the blood it in turn thins out the clots which make them easier to pass and also will make your period a little lighter. (when clots are trying to pass you have a heavier flow) hope you feel better

Heating Pad, Tylenol, avoid caffeine, eat lots of carbs, and if you lay on the floor in your bedroom with your feet up on your bed your cramps will be relieved for a little while.

Aleve(AKA Naproxen Sodium) will keep cramps away for 12 hours its great. It also helps to stay away from anything with caffeine a few days before you start.
