This is like asking, "Who is my favorite historical figure." It is too hard to reduce it to one.

Milhouse is among my favorites because of his many injuries sustained and because he wore a complete camaflauge outfit in the lemon tree episode but he still wore red sneakers with it.

Grandpa Simpson is hilarious with his incorrect recollections of his past and his distorted view of history.

Superintendent Chalmers is perhaps the only normal person in Springfield and Skinner's ridiculous explanations never quite ring true to him (since he relatively normal.)

But Krusty the Klown is also a side splitter with his many addictions (cigars, alcohol, porn, hookers, etc...) all while being a children's entertainer.

Without ANY doubt, the Simpsons is the BEST written and directed television program in the last fifty years. After 17 seasons it has not yet hit a dry spell and it has yet to "jump the shark."

Simply the best----ever!

The Comic Book Man???????Why I don't know really. I guess it's because he is hillarious in his own way. He knows all comic books and he is corny but cool. And in the back of his comic book shop he had a viewing room for movies. I watch the Simpsons all the time.

Ralph Wiggum

and I quote

"And, when the doctor said I didn't have worms any more, that was the happiest day of my life."

"He's still funny, but not 'ha-ha' funny."

"So, do you...like...stuff?"

"It says 'I Choo-choo-choose You,' and there's a picture of a train!"

"My cat's breath smells like cat food."

"When I grow up, I want to be a principal or a caterpillar."

"The doctor said I wouldn't have so many nose bleeds if I kept my finger outta there."

I like Mr. Burns the best because he's just so old, mean and feeble. It amuses me. Groundskeeper Willie is pretty cool too.

Montgomery Burns, if only for this classic:

Homer --- "Mr. Burns, you're the richest man I know."

Burns --- "Yes, but I'd trade it all for a little bit more."
