How come glue doesn't stick to the iside of the bottle?

In those glue bottles, not gluesticks, how does all that sticky liquid glue NOT stick to the inside, if it sticks everything else together? I choose best answers rather quickly, so the faster you answer, the better of a best answer chance. ^^

Glue needs to "harden" to transfer from a liquid state into a sticky state, then hardens.

Therefor it required air to harden. Inside the glue bottle the lid it usually capped off.

There is also the matter of volume. A LITTLE layer of glue is what you use to stick paper together. A LOT of glue and it sits there in a WET GLOB. YES as it dries out will hold the surfaces together (and look ugly) but it does work.
