Heh, weird question, I know, but I noticed that when I was shaving my legs, and it is also on my arms. :P And I'm wondering if it is because one side of my body gets more blood than the other or something. :P

If you are female this isnt unusual at all. Since females start off with two X-Chromosomes and one randomly gets inactivated when you are just an embryo, females are often mosaic. Which could explain why one side of your body has slightly thicker hair than the other. Each side got a different X-Chromosome inactivated.

This is only a possible explanation as I do not know if there are any genes on the X-Chromosome that have to do with hair, but I know there are some that have to do with skin development......

No, possible mosaic gene expression. The cell do express in this pattern for some thing. Look at calico cats and the variance of Barr body distribution. Of course, what you describe does not sound quite like that, though.
