I remember some of the shows they had were "The Electric Grandmother," "Grimm's Fairy Tales," and "Snow White and Rose Red." I'm also trying to figure out the name of a movie they played a lot where one of the characters looked a lot like Tony Goldwyn (or maybe it WAS him... I dunno)... Ah yeah! I remember Grimm's Fairy Tales, and David the Gnome. I think there was also Maya the Bee, The Elephant Show...oh my God, I can't believe how many memories you've just surfaced just by asking that!!
Unfortunately, I can't remember the movie you're talking about though...
In more of a direct answer to your question, I'd have to say that my alltime favorite Nick show was 'The Adventures of Pete and Pete'. The current show that's closest to that is without a doubt 'Ned's Declassified'.
