Never really got into the Stars but I'd say the Dino the Dinosaurs that fans had during the run to the 1981 Final.
Also, the Gumper!

It was the year they had a young Bobby Smith, Steve Payne and Curt Giles. They knocked off the Montreal Canadians in a huge surprise during the opening rounds of the playoffs and had a very good playoff run.
I think it was 1980 or 81. That was a great team that was fun to watch.

The first hockey game I saw in person was the North Stars.
This was back in the late 70s, and I was living in Washington DC. The Capitals and the North Stars both sucked, and they had to give away tickets to the game. I left after the 1st period.

When they made it to the Stanley Cup Finals in the early 90's against Mario and the Penguins.

The breakaway Lemieux had in the '91 Finals against Andy Moog where he slid into the net after he scored. Vintage Mario!

I was never a North Stars fan but he was awesome in the playoffs when they made the finals but lost to the Pens.

Dino Cicarelli ... I met him in Switzerland 1990 when he played for Team Canada before all the hoopla about his babysitter. Good little hockey player with grit and could skate. Kind of a pre-Fleury ...

That one game...when they were winning against the...uh...other team...and they were ahead by 3 goals, and then that one big hockey guy...punched the other big hockey guy and then all the hockey guys started punching each other...they all got put in the penalty box except for the goalies and they took turns taking shots at goal the entire length of the ice....that would have to be my favorite!!!
