In May I am taking the AP Biology and AP European tests. Does any one have tips on how to study or what to do to prepare? Should I already start reviewing?

I JUST took the AP Euro test. I heard that AP bio is pretty factual. But for in-depth AP euro. VERY possible to get 4 or 5 on exams. Basically, if you even get HALF of possible points, you will pass. All my friends got 5s, but then we had an actual AP Euro test grader as a teacher...but anywayz. I would not suggest REA. I bought it and it's only advantage is it has the most practice tests. But what you should be looking for is quality, not quantity. Princeton review is pretty good, but Cliff notes is my undisputed go to guide for aps. Cliff notes organizes its info into easy to read bullet points. also offers compare and contrasts for info that may be in an essay. The actual test definitely has a whole lot about philosohpers like Rousseau and Hobbles and Locke...but don't forget about economists like smith and his wealth of nations. Also, go the college board to view previous frqs so you can eliminate them as possible choices. WARNING: DBQs are very strange, I got a DBQ about sports! hope that helps!

Well, the question is whether or not you actually care. For most schools, you'll need a 4 or a 5 to get college credit. If you moderately well, you'll get a 3. The average score tends to be somewhere between a d 2 and a 3.

The only thing the AP test does is give you college credit. This is unnecessary if you have enough money to pay for college. If you don't then you should try doing well. Of course, if you cannot do well enough to attain a 4 or 5, and know it, trying won't be of much use.

Now, if you want to go for it anyhow, I suggest you start buying a review book for each subject. Get the gist of things starting now, and then do an overview on the weeks before the actual test.

For AP bio, get Cliff Notes NOW! Read all the comments on Amazon because they boosted my morale. But I think Cliff Notes is the best. Most people reccommend it and a good majority got a 5 using that book.

Yes!! I teach AP, so I can tell you, get "5 Steps to a 5" or Barrons, I like those. If you read and review now, you won't be pressured later.

For the European History A.P. test, try finding the R.E.A. book.

You should start reviewing now.
