YES!!! Nothing except abstinence (no sex at all!) is 100% guaranteed.
Also, antibiotics and cold medicines can reduce the effectiveness of the Pill. There are other medications but these 2 are widely know to be effectiveness reducers.
If you're worried about getting pregnant STOP HAVING SEX!
Since you're obviously not going to do that you need to make sure your partner wears a condom with a spermicide coating EVERY time. Hopefully this will prevent you from becoming pregnant and reduce your chances of contracting a sexually transmitted disease (STD). (Even condoms can't stop every STD!)
An unplanned pregnancy can be the least of your worries. At least with the pregnancy you can put the baby up for adoption. A STD will have a negative effect on your sex life for the rest of your life if it doesn't end your life (as in AIDS).
Educate yourself and realize that your life is more important than sex.

Birth control pills are 99% effective. So there's that 1% chance that it will fail. That's why they recommend you use a backup method like condoms to make sure. But the good news is that I've only known of one woman who got pregnant while on birth control pills.

First, you will desire to give up taking the pill. It has like a ninety 9% valuable fee to give up being pregnant. regularly, you do not prefer to get pregnant until approximately 3 months after struggling with the pill (use yet another potential of birth control in this time), so as that all of the hormones and stuff are transforming into out of your physique. you do not say who'll get mad at you for needing a toddler, yet while it is your husband or boyfriend and that they don't choose one yet, you're merely commencing up yet another can of worms by doing this without your better half's settlement. that's stressful sufficient raising a baby right this moment with the two a parents modern-day; i does not even prefer to attempt to take action if between the mummy and dad does not choose the baby.

Birth control pills are 99% effective, so yes, there is a 1 in 100 chance that you will get pregnant while taking them. The chances increase if you skip pills. You can also get pregnant if you are taking other medications (such as antibiotics) that lower the effectiveness of the hormones.

It's a possibility. My sister was on birth control, and got pregnant.
Unfortunately, it was an ectopic pregnancy, which means the baby tried to form in her fallopian tubes.. and ended up pretty much destroying it.
I have also met a woman who got pregnant (yes, paternity tests were done) after she had her tubes tied, and her husband had a vasectomy.
Nothing is guaranteed.

the answer to that is yes. birth control isn't 100% full proof. the less estrogen it has the less effective it's going to be. the reason I know this is because a friend of mine was taking BC and ended up getting pregnant. if you're trying to keep from getting pregnant I would continue taking the BC but also have him wear a condom as this will decrease the changes of getting pregnant. they also sell spermicide at Wal-Mart. (sorry don't know the name of it but I know it exists because I was with my friend when she got it)

There is always a chance of pregnancy even while taking BC pills. The ONLY 100% method of avoiding pregnancy and STDs is abstinence.

While the chances are very small, you can get pregnant while on birth control if you are not taking them regularly.
