I'm not sure but Coretta Scott King supported it. “Homophobia is like racism and anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry in that it seeks to dehumanize a large group of people, to deny their humanity, their dignity and personhood.” Coretta Scott King
Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

His good friend and mentor Bayard Rustin might have. Shame he didn't live long enough for us to find out, huh?
Also, Coretta Scott King, his widow, was an outspoken advocate for LGBT rights in her later years.

His widow Coretta Scott King believed he would. And she was a very strong supporter of equal rights for gays.

Probably not...seeing that he was for EQUALITY! See that's the problem....people STILL to this day don't fully understand his "I have a dream..." speech. No clue....is it that hard for you to make a mental leap?! His whole life was dedicated to equality! So what would that tell you?

No. It is sad that people would co-opt his life to promote what he would have considered immoral behavior. The Black community comes from a strong history of faith and convictions, and even to this day, it seems a greater percentage of Blacks have a problem with homosexuality than Whites. I have no facts on that, it is just my impression. So why would someone from one of the last holdouts on gay issues support them?

I could see him and his family protesting in defense of this issue. "Injustice to anyone anywhere is injustice to all."
