I'm not quite sure I understand your question.

By having a Harvard degree, you are going to have a Harvard degree in a particular discipline.

If you want to get an engineering job, obviously they're looking to hire someone with a Harvard degree in engineering over a Psych major.

For law school, they don't care at all.

Med school doesn't matter as much, as long as you get all your required courses in.
