I'm not talking about a needy, clingy man who sends you flowers every day and calls every 15 minutes. I'm talking about a true gentleman . . . confident, honest, healthy, respectful, successful, and romantic. Men like that have been all but banished in American society, because most women see them as being "boring", and go out of their way to hurt them and take them for granted.
Chivalry? Forget about it. If you open a door for a woman, she'll slap your face. Grab a woman that you don't even know and slap her on the backside? She'll think you're the sexiest bad boy alive.
Then women whine about how they can't find a good man. A bit hypocritical, don't you think?

My boyfriend is a gentleman and much appreciated. He opens doors, calls my mother "Ma'am," and always wants to pay for dinner. If anyone, even him, slapped me on the backside without invitation they would get a slap on the face. I see what you're saying, but there are still some good men out there. And a woman with any sense at all would be thrilled to find one. The problem is that most women lack this important facet.

I think it's quite presumptuous of you to assume that all women are like this. I'm thinking it's more likely that you haven't dated the right type of women. I know more females who appreciate a good man than find them boring. If a man slapped my backside he'd be slapped back by me, but if he opened the door for me I'd know he was probably a genuine romantic. Seriously.. go meet a new set of women, obviously you've got a problem with all the wrong ones.

I think you are watching too many bad TV shows and your imagination is running wild. That will be the day ,to hear a man open the door to a woman,instead of saying thank you,she slapped his face.ect ect...... I think you have been hanging around with the wrong women. Sounds like the man of my dreams. I would love a man that is as much a gentleman after 6 months as he was when I met him. What's with the disappearing act?

i am a man of that calaber. however, my wife was prim and proper around me 14 yrs. but come to find out that she and her girlfriends were sluts away from me. women are two personalities in one. sadly, they never show their sluty side to the ones they're suposed to love.
