it's a good time when you stop thinking about it and just stop wanting a baby so much and don't think about it, then you'll get a baby one day

Infertility is the inability of a couple to achieve a pregnancy after repeated intercourse without contraception for 1 year.

Infertility affects about one of five couples in the United States. It is becoming increasingly common because people are waiting longer to marry and to have a child. Nevertheless, up to 60% of the couples who have not conceived after a year of trying do conceive eventually, with or without treatment. The goal of treatment is to reduce the time needed to conceive or to provide couples who might not otherwise conceive the opportunity to do so. Before treatment is begun, counseling that provides information about the treatment process (including its duration) and the chances of success is beneficial.

When you're ovulating. Although you should have definitely become pregnant on your own by now if you've been trying for 7 years. I would BOTH go to your doctors to have thorough examinations to rule out any fertility issues.

Best of luck.

Doesn't ovulation occur about two weeks after a woman has her period? That would seem to me to be the best time.

However if you really want to get pregnant why not do it everyday. Then no matter when the egg drop you bound to hit it!

I assume you know for certain that his sperm count isn't low? As long as he's got pleanty of swimmers it's only a matter of time!

It all depends on your cycle. If you have been seriously trying for that long then I suggest that you both go and see a doctor. Something could be wrong or just need to be fine tuned.

Good luck.

wow no offense but i can't believe misty is that clueless... given that she is a female.

ovulation is when you're fertile. ovulation typically occurs halfway between periods, day 14 on a 28 day cycle. but the best way to guage your fertility is by noting the color and texture of your cervical mucus.. read here http://www.fertilinet.com/Cervical%20Fluid%20and%20Fertility.htm the last day of clear stringy mucus is when you're the most fertile, but you're most able to get pregnant about 3 days before and 3 days after ovulation, as sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days. you could try using a menstraul cup, like the diva cup http://www.divacup.com/ to help keep his sperm in. you may end up liking it for menstuation aswell.. who knows.

No joke....we tried to conceive for over a year, and I found out that masterbation (by the female) inhibits the sperm from getting where they need to go! Once I found that out, I was pregnant within 2 months!

The best thing to do would be to see a doctor and make sure that both of you are capable of having children, then go from there.
